Schaartje - This advanced play is called scissors. The first player in the stack cuts to one side, the second player cuts to the other side and the third person in the stack cuts straight towards the disc. (Although the third person is the primary target, all players should be ready to receive the disc).Reverse Schaartje - This is the same play but then from the back of the stack with the third player going deep.

Sometimes during defense it happens that you can't chase your opponent because your way is blocked by another player (this can be anybody: another opponent or one of your team mates). In that case call out loud: "Pick!" Then play is paused and your opponent has to go back to the position where he was before the block happened.
